Job Description:
Microscopic interpretation of cells to detect cancer and other abnormalities. This includes the examination of samples collected from the uterine cervix pap test, lung, gastrointestinal tract or body cavities
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and fulfillment of the requirements for certification as a cytotechnologist as set forth by the ASCP and ASC
Thin prep certification preferred
Experience - 3 years full time and continuous experience as a Cytotechnologist
Experience in a laboratory supervised by a pathologist or other physician certified in diagnostic cytology
