Senior Blackberry Messaging Engineer in San Francisco, CA 94101

This nationwide bank is searching for a senior messaging engineer to join the Enterprise Messaging & Collaboration - Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Blackberry Enterprise Solution as well as knowledge of Microsoft server solutions, including Exchange. Windows Mobile and iPhone engineering and support experience is a significant plus. Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment ( >10,000 users) where the team member must follow corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes. Candidate must have solid engineering experience, be able to work independently, and must be able to handle all aspects of Blackberry engineering projects, from inception to implementation. The ideal candidate will have had experience with Blackberry, Exchange, Windows Mobile, iPhone and Microsoft Rights Management.

Experience Required

  • At least 5 years hands-on technical experience and SME expertise in building and supporting a scalable, mission-critical Blackberry (Mobile) environment
  • Experience with large Blackberry migrations and upgrades (in an Exchange environment)
  • Experience in deploying and managing 3rd party applications via the Blackberry Enterprise Server
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience with iPhone design, engineering, and roll out in a large-scale environment preferred
  • Experience with both Exchange and Lotus Notes preferred
