What you need for this position:

- 4-5 years experience, preferably in social media or web startup
- In-depth knowledge of latest trends in social media and web 2.0
- Previous involvement with enhancing user experience preferred
- Proven ability to grow community membership preferred
- Knowledge of media reporting and analysis services and tools
- Project management
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong communications skills
- Passionate about the power of the web to create social change
- Both passionate about and familiar with functionality, metrics, and analytics
- Extremely well organized and works efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to be a visible voice and face of our community
- Familiarity with latest web developments and trends
- Knowledge of what web users seek and how they want to engage with content online
- Bright, energetic, collaborative, goal-driven personality

What you'll be doing:

- Leading our efforts to be at the forefront of Bleeding Edge Technology Products in the Web 2.0 Space
- Actively engaging in and using the site
- Listening to community feedback; analyzing feedback to prioritize improvements
- Utilizing analytics to gain insight into areas in need of improvement
- Outlining and presenting proposed enhancements and their potential impact
- Pinpointing and describing specifications of enhancements to happen within each product
- Managing and growing our existing member/subscriber base
- Creating and managing reports & analytics on subscriber base
- Maintaining product calendar and helping traffic information and objectives
