Position Details
The chosen candidate will be working to implement SAS as the statewide ad-hoc reporting tool for procurement related reports. The SAS application is currently in a pilot phase and the project is targeting roll-out to all state agencies

Role Description
The SAS SME would be responsible for the analyzing the following: current installation, usage of cubes, report generation through information maps and current hardware specifications. The SME would be responsible for both development and implementation of recommendations for functional and technical enhancements, to improve overall application performance. This position requires a resource with the experience implementing SAS Web Report Studio to both single entity and cross entity users.

• Responsible for analyzing and development recommendations to improve current SAS installation.
• Responsible for serving as a designing, configuring and testing recommendations.
• Responsible for assisting other NC ePro teams, including the technical architecture, training support team, as needed to meet the SAS implementation goals.
• Responsible for transitioning work effort to a SAS application maintenance team before rolling off of project or role.
• Responsible for proactively identifying and resolving issues, including but not limited to team issues, design issues, code issues, test issues, and work effort timeline issues; when an issue is outside of his/her control or expertise, raise the issue to the team lead.

Experience Required

Bachelors Degree is required.
1 year experience with SAS BI Server/ Admin
1 year experience with SAS DI Server
1 year experience with SAS Management Console
1 year experience with SAS Macros
1 year experience with SAS DI Studio
