Search Engine Marketing Account Manager in Bellevue, WA 98004

Are you interested Internet Search? Do you have experience analyzing the performance of websites that generate new business from Internet referrals and inbound traffic? Have you had success developing strategies and measuring success for your company or clients?

Our client is a world-renowned company seeking a Search Engine Marketing Account Manager to help define and implement strategy for various search engine website verticals and website properties using Search Engine Marketing (SEM) as the driving tactic.

Our client's multiple websites have a need to drive targeted traffic to their sites to increase engagement and/or acquisition. Search Engine Marketing is used to do this by running campaigns that consist of thousands of keywords. That's why this position requires a very quantitatively oriented individual who enjoys leveraging massive amounts of marketing data and financial reports to drive and increase the profitability of online marketing initiatives. As the Account Manager you will work with individual search engine marketing campaign managers as well as site channel managers to provide analytical and financial insight and support. You will also serve as a liaison between the team and Finance to provide budgeting and forecasting support.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with coordination, implementation and analysis of A/B and multivariate site tests
  • Appling business savvy and real world realities to analytic results to develop recommendations for the business
  • Proactively identifying areas/decisions where additional analytic or strategic insight is needed
  • Finding new ways to analyze and look at data while consistently providing increased insight into KPI's
  • Finding patterns in data and turn into actionable business impact and driving change in the organization
  • Developing new and improved ways to track and report on key aspects of the business in order to inform key business decisions
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams to apply analytical results to organizational decision making processes
  • Using competitive research to create "opportunities" for our clients and company

Experience Required

  • 3+ years work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a marketing business analyst
  • Experience in Marketing, Internet search, Internet marketing or e-commerce
  • Understanding of online businesses and sound business related skills
  • Affinity for numbers and the ability to process complex calculations quickly and accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently identify and use all available quantitative information to make good business decisions
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, multi-task and participate in team-based planning process
  • Detailed-oriented, highly organized, and analytical with the ability to solve problems with confidence
  • Experience conducting and analyzing research (qualitative and quantitative)
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel required
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools preferred - Omniture, Web Trends
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
