This is a Recurring Requisition. It is being used to develop a pool of qualified applicants.





The project scheduler shall be responsible for the development of CPM schedules for various construction projects ranging in size from $10k to 6 million. The key role of this position will be the preparation and maintenance of accurate, standardized estimates and applicable timelines for various construction and renovation projects.The position involves diversified engineering work associated with the planning, design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of facilities with minimum supervision. In addition, the Scheduler/Engineer will coordinate and monitor all project activities and expenditures as it relates to the estimate and project timeline.The Scheduler/Engineer will work closely with the project superintendents and client.



Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential functions:



Development of Proposal Schedules: Work closely with the estimators of the proposals during the bidding/estimating phase and develop well-defined and properly sequenced work activities.



Develop Project Schedules for minor and major construction projects



Aid in observation and inspection of construction projects under engineering and construction jurisdiction to assure conformance with plans and specifications.



Plan and design small buildings including the preparation of preliminary, design, and construction surveys to assure project control.



Review the work of technical personnel engaged in planning and design of projects submitted by the client.



Perform technical and professional civil engineering work in the field and office.



May direct, coordinate and oversee the work of other technicians involved in the engineering or construction department.



Knowledge:



Knowledge of modern principles and practices in civil engineering.



Knowledge of methods and techniques in the design, construction, supervision and maintenance of facilities.



Knowledge of codes, laws, rules and regulations applicable to the development, construction and maintenance of facilities.





This type of position will require either a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.

Experience Required

Education and/Or Experience:

Six years experience in the planning, designing, construction, inspection, and maintenance of facilties or a combination of experience and training

Registration as an Engineering in Training (EIT), a professional registration (PE) is desirable.

Complete working knowledge of AutoCAD 2005 or later is required.

Completed working knowledge of Primavera P3 or equivalent and Suretrak are required.
